NEVADA HEALTH PROFESSIONALS NETWORK AND PHUONG NAM GROUP
A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR NURSING STUDENTS
On August 23, 2024, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Phuong Dong Da Nang College, the Nevada Health Professionals Network - USA, and Phuong Nam Group for the collaboration on implementing the "Professional International Nursing Development Program in Nevada, USA" was successfully held.
According to the MOU, the parties have agreed on the following roles and responsibilities:
✔ Phuong Dong Da Nang College will train a workforce of nurses and be responsible for recommending nursing graduates who meet the Program's criteria and wish to participate in the "Professional International Nursing Development Program in Nevada, USA" to the other parties.
✔ The Nevada Health Professionals Network will accept candidates recommended by Phuong Dong Da Nang College; provide housing, scholarships, advanced nursing and English training for candidates; assist candidates in obtaining U.S. nursing licenses; offer job placement services; advise on career development opportunities for candidates; and also offer guidance and support for settling in the U.S. for the candidates and their families (if desired).
✔ Phuong Nam Group will act as a liaison between Phuong Dong Da Nang College and the Nevada Health Professionals Network, USA, coordinating the cooperation activities among the parties; represent the Network to accept candidates in Vietnam; collaborate and assist Phuong Dong Da Nang College in providing English training for students participating in the Program; support candidates in the visa application process; and, together with the Network, help candidates study and seek employment opportunities in the healthcare and medical fields in the U.S.
The signing ceremony marks a significant milestone, laying the foundation for promoting cooperation between the parties and opening up golden opportunities for nursing students aspiring to study and work in the United States.
On the same day, the Nevada Health Professionals Network and Phuong Nam Group held an exciting exchange with the Nursing Department students at the College. A wealth of useful information was shared by Mr. Harry Singh - President of the Network, and Mrs. Tran Thi Khanh Linh - CEO, with the students.
